DNB and AFM Supervision
DNB (De Nederlandsche Bank) and the AFM (Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets) share supervision of the Dutch financial sector via the Twin Peaks model. DNB conducts prudential supervision of financial institutions (banks, insurers, pension funds) and oversees capital adequacy, risk management and anti-money laundering. The AFM focuses on conduct supervision.
