What is the difference between Risk Management and Internal Audit?

Within the IIA Three Lines Model, Risk Management belongs to the second line: expertise and oversight of risk management. Internal Audit is the third line and provides independent assurance. We support both with the same methodology and safeguard the independence of Internal Audit.

Can I hire a single specialist or only full engagements?

Both. From ten days per assignment via Support (senior on assignment), or a defined engagement such as an External Quality Assessment.
